ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The GSWIDA Fundraising Foundation oversees the improvement of quality of life of members impacted by the Industrial Park by identifying and focusing on education and job creation. Since 2000, the Association has organized an annual golf tournament committed to raising monetary support to nonprofit organizations and elementary schools within the Industrial Park.

In addition to supporting local charitable organizations in our industrial park, the annual golf tournament allows for a fun, informal opportunity to network with fellow business owners in the Park. GSWIDA has collectively raised more than $130,000 benefiting Eisenhower Elementary School (Grand Prairie), Roark Elementary School (Arlington), Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Prairie & Arlington, and the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Arlington.

Golf Tournament Raises $5,000 for CWJC of Arlington

Proceeds from the GSWIDA Annual 2009 Golf Tournament were presented to the Christian Women's Job Corp of Arlington at our annual holiday luncheon.

The Association wants to thank our sponsors: American Eurocopter, City of Arlington, City of Grand Prairie, PDQ Temporary Services and Stream Real Estate, and a round of applaud to Tierra Verde Golf Club and the Ventana Grill for truly rolling out the red carpet for the Association with an amazing menu and excellent service.
