The GSWIDA Infrastructure & Public Relations Committee is working on improvements within the GSW Industrial Park, and we need your help!  The GSW Park has a long and great history and is a prime centralized location within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex; however, our industrial park is a mixture of both old and new.  We want to make GSW the premier place for companies to set up new business, and grow with us.

OUR BASIC GOAL – to be a conduit for information on infrastructure projects, such as street repairs and construction, railroad crossing maintenance, lighting and utility projects, between the GSWIDA and the cities/agencies involved. The committee will monitor communication from the cities of Arlington and Grand Prairie, and other agencies, and report that activity or progress to the GSWIDA board and members. We will also gather information from members about projects that need to be requested. When needed, the committee is the public face for the GSWIDA at city council, planning & zoning, and other public meetings.

INFORMATION DISCOVERY – The committee is establishing information contacts, email notifications, and gathering information from a variety of sources about projects and issues within the GSW area.

INQUIRY REQUESTS – A number of inquiries have already been sent to city departments and agencies requesting information on GSW-related projects and planning. Responses are being received and discussion planned.

SITE SURVEY – We have started a street by street, crossing by crossing, review of the GSW District in order to organize the repairs, projects and concerns that the committee will plan to address with each responsible party.

QUARTERLY REPORT – We plan to present a quarterly report on current, requested, planned and future projects and issues. The next comprehensive report should be ready in March.
