The Economic Development Department provides complete industrial, retail and downtown site location assistance; markets the City of Grand Prairie as a place to do business; recruits new business and new development; provides an aggressive business retention and expansion program; negotiates economic development incentives; coordinates City redevelopment efforts for Downtown Grand Prairie Revitalization.
The City of Grand Prairie takes great pride in forming unified collaboration between Economic Development, Planning & Development, Inspections and Transportation Departments to offer the business community a one-stop shopping system to smoothly approach facility start-ups, expansions and new developments.
